Nicole Corbin is a Masters student of Celtic Languages and Societies at University of Western Brittany in Brest, France. She is currently researching the representations of the Breton ankou, or death-worker, in historical sites throughout Lower Brittany and in French language graphic novels. She received her B.A. in History from James Madison University (Harrisonburg, Virginia, United States) in 2013. Although American, she has been in France for three years and has been in Brittany for several months. She hopes to be able to stay in France, and particularly Brest, permanently.
